The first B Team! Productions feature film, born from the endless time that came with the COVID-19 pandemic. Home from college without anything better to do, Cameron Andrews wrote, produced, directed and edited Holocene, his first feature film. Starring Andrews as well as B Team! co-founders Robert Haversat and Pat LaMarco, and shot in part by B Team! co-founder Conor O’Leary, it marks our first collaboration of this scale.
Holocene was shot on a $900 budget using friends and family as both cast and crew. Photography lights were donated by a family friend and our personal Canon EOS 5D was used for filming. We learned a lot from the experience, and were lucky enough to premiere the film at The Big Picture Theatre in Waitsfield, Vermont, where Cameron is from.
As we move onto bigger and better things, it’s always nice to look back and see where we started.
